Backup and Restore

To access 101's built in backup system, click "Backup and Restore" on the Tools menu.

The location shown in the Data Folder box is where 101 currently saves your shot data. On first installation, this will also be the default folder nominated by the version of Windows you are running. (The default data folder differs from one version of Windows to another)

To Backup and Restore

To Backup your data Click the "Select Folder" button and select the folder you want to backup to.

Then click this button.

To restore from a previous backup, select its folder and click the restore button.

To keep your data somewhere else

To keep your data other than in the default folder, select a folder and click here

This option is useful if you like to keep all your data under a single folder to use a system wide backup program.

To switch between two different data folders

If you wish to keep more than one set of data, click this button.

Note

Unless you have strong reasons not to, we advise that you keep your data in the default folder. If you upgrade your Windows from XP to Vista, the upgrade will move your shots to the new default folder for the Vista operating system. If you keep your data somewhere else, it won't.
