Welcome to 101 Screen Shots

To capture shots, leave 101 minimized in the system tray. Press PrtScr to capture the whole screen or Alt+PrtScr to capture the active window. Selected screen rectangle shots are created by cropping out the area you want from the shot after capture.

101 can capture up to 25 shots without stopping. When you capture the 26th shot without electing to keep any of the shots permanently, 101 discards the first shot, so you always have the last 25 shots. When you want to edit, paste or save as, click the tray icon.

This is the 101 organizer window.

The yellow area, containing 25 slots, is the incoming area. Each time you press PrtScr, 101 will capture the shot, save it to disk and display a default name for it in one of these slots.

The white area, containing 150 slots, is the area where you store the shots you want to keep permanently. The 150 slots constitute one shot group. There are 20 such groups. You can change and rename groups from the Group menu.

To move shots from the incoming area to the permanent group, you can either drag them or use cut, copy and paste. If you use dragging, dragging with the left mouse button moves the shot (equivalent to cut and paste) and dragging with the right mouse button copies the shot (equivalent to copy and paste). You can also use either of these methods to rearrange shots within the permanent area and you can use cut, copy and paste to move or copy shots from one group to another.

To edit a screen shot, click on its name. Once you have shots permanently saved in the white area, you can arrange them by dragging, you can sort them alphabetically, you can change their default names and you can highlight them with color so that all your shots are organized and easy to find.

Checkout the right click menus and experiment with multi selecting.

As you move the mouse over saved shots, you can see them in the preview window.
